We are about to place an order for sweaters and caps in club colours with our usual supplier, Willow Sportswear.
We will not be holding a stock of these items so you will need to order now - and send payment with your order.
Sweaters
The club design is that so ably modeled by Will Drake and Paul Cassidy in the team photo on the right (back row, second and fourth left). It is an all wool sweater - with long sleeve and sleeveless options - and features a small Jester embroidered in the centre of the chest.
Sizes available are 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48 - and you will need to specify which one you want when you order. If in doubt, probably best to go for a slightly larger size.
Prices are £45.00 for long sleeve and £41.50 for sleeveless.
Caps
These are navy blue with the club badge and name on the front. They are traditional style cricket caps.
Please note they are not the style we ordered a few years ago (as worn by Terry Harragan and Tony Withers in the front row of the team photo). These were a sort of cross between a baseball and traditional style cap, had a Velcro fastening at the back, and weren’t popular.
Sizes available are 7, 7 1/8, 7 1/4, 7 3/8, 7 1/2, 7 5/8.Again, you will need to specify size when you order.
For those with no idea of their cap size there is a one-size-fits-all elasticated version of the same cap style. Apparently this might be a little tight if you have a particularly large head.
Prices: £27.00 for the standard cap; £28.50 for the elasticated version.
There is a minimum order quantity of six caps for us to be able to go ahead.
How to order
Please send your orders to Andrew Short by Saturday 13th March - stating the sizes you need. It’s payment with order, so either include a cheque payable to the club or make a payment directly into our bank account. If you pay into the account, please email John Murphy so we can check your payment has gone through.
