Dashing Mohammed 50 saves face in Hurlingham loss

Hurlingham 239-7 Jesters CC 157 all out (Mohammed 58*) Jesters lost by 82 runs We started well at Hurlingham but the home side accelerated quite significantly towards the end of their allotted 35 overs and, after an early collapse in reply, the writing was on the wall. The only bright spot was Adnan Mohammed's swift half century, which included 11 fours. Skipper Jonny Bridcut will hopefully produce a fuller account...

    Lord of the Barnes

Jesters CC 293-5 (Lord 124, Dancey 74) Barnes Common 182 all out Jesters won by 111 runs Dance then, wherever you may be Cos we’ve got Tom Lord and Rob Dancey An extraordinary first-wicket partnership between Tom Lord and Rob Dancey saw the Jesters romp to a 105-run victory against Barnes Common, writes Noah Hillyard... On a scorching day in south west London, Alex Smith (captain Hillyard stuck in traffic) won the toss and chose to bat. The next two hours belonged to Lord (12
Hard fought win against Jesus at Girton College

Hard fought win against Jesus at Girton College

Jesters CC 263-4 (Chak 81*, Smyth 53*, Doward 33, Winchester 33) Jesus College, Cambridge 189 all out (Chak 3-37) Jesters won by 74 runs On paper it would appear we cruised to victory against Jesus College, Cambridge, but this was a win that proved far from straightforward. On a perfect cloudless Cambridge afternoon, we were inserted by the students on a decent looking Girton wicket (the Jesus pitch is being dug up and relaid this summer). Max Winchester (33) and Ollie Doward
