Report: Convincing run chase at Eastcote

A third win of the season was notched in some style at the delightful Haydon Hall, home of Middlesex Division Two side Eastcote CC, who had stepped in to replace Sawbridgeworth at short notice.

Karim Sutton and DJ Chak were in the wickets as Eastcote recovered from a slow start to post 184. Andrew Shakespeare, making his Jesters debut after a couple of years out the game, bowled with real pace and deserved more.

After an early wobble, Rowan Clapp (55) and Ollie Doward (62*) guided us home after a rain shower had briefly threatened to end the game. Ollie finished the match in some style with a six. Match manager Alex Smith's full report will appear here shortly.
