DJ dominates in Middleton Stoney draw

DJ Chak was the star of the show at Middleton Stoney, top scoring with 34 before delivering 12 overs for just 11 runs and three wickets - a mean spell! It wasn't enough to force a win though, with home batsman George Williams (69*) holding their innings together after an early collapse. The home side's top order could not get to grips with DJ or Dan Hayes, whose nine overs cost just 15. Andrew Short's two wickets gave us a sniff but the game petered out into a draw. Earlier, Matt Williamson's 30 and Max Harris' 28 helped us to 173 off 41 overs before skipper John Murphy declared. It was great to see brothers Louis and Max (pictured below) batting together, albeit briefly!
