Bedu replaced; HAC & Pink Elephants off

The 2019 fixture list has been hit with a triple whammy of cancellations. The HAC outfield hasn’t recovered from some badly timed marquees and they have reluctantly pulled the plug on the Sunday 28th April fixture. Badly timed marquees stop play The Bedouin are really struggling for players this season and are without founding members and fellow Jesters Rob Harrison and Joe Phelan. As a result, they cannot fulfil the fixture. However, as quick as a flash, fixtures secretary Jonny Bridcut has found replacement opposition in the form of the Flashmen CC. O'Brien stars with bat on debut at OMT

Old Merchant Taylors' 131-5 (35 overs) Jesters 132-5 (19.3 overs, O'Brien 81) Jesters won by 5 wickets We got off to a winning start with a comfortable five wicket win against Old Merchant Taylors'. OMT mustered only 131 from their allotted 35 overs thanks to mean spells from Phil Berman, debutant Ilija Krunic, Chris Smith and another debutant Sean O'Brien. There are also rumours of an Adnan Mohammed wonder catch at slip. O'Brien then stroked a fine 81 to help steer us to victory in the 20th over.
